LUBBOCK, TX -- A 32-year-old woman and two teens are behind bars after they were involved in an alleged assault.
According to the Lubbock Sheriff's Office, on Wednesday evening deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Kimberly Dr for reports of a fight.
After the preliminary investigation was completed regarding the fight, officers observed Amanda Lee Guzman assault her 14-year-old son.
Deputies were able to determine the 14-year-old may have also assaulted his mother.
When deputies attempted to speak with the teen, he ran away from the scene. Deputies soon located him and he physically resisted arrest.
The teen then attempted to assault a deputy. He was subsequently struck in the face, resulting in a minor injury.
A 12-year-old juvenile then attempted to assault a deputy to prevent the 14-year-old from being arrested.
EMS personnel attempted to evaluate the 14-year-old at the scene, but he was uncooperative.
Guzman was arrested for domestic assault, the 14-year-old was arrested for evading arrest/detention and resisting arrest, and the 12-year-old was arrested for interference with public duties.
Guzman was transported to the Lubbock County Detention Center while the juveniles were taken to the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center.

The mother later stated that she was teaching her sons how to resist arrest and get themselves shot. She pointed out that she deserves a multi-million dollar wrongful death settlement from the county and the quicker they're dead the better for her.
