San Angelo National Guard Unit Will Host Open House Event

SAN ANGELO, TX – On Saturday, April 24th the National Guard unit operating in San Angelo will be hosting an open house event.

The event, which will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., will feature unit demonstrations, static demonstrations, and more.

"This is a community event for people to meet their local National Guard unit and see some of what it is that they do. Many people in San Angelo are not even aware that they have a National Guard unit in their own backyard," said Local Recruiter, SSG Johnathan Marturano. "

The event is open to all community members. The National Guard Armory is located at 4149 US-67.
