SAN ANGELO, TX -- Nothing Bundt Cakes will be celebrating their first birthday in San Angelo next weekend and they are inviting all San Angeloans to stop by and visit their store.
This anniversary is extra special as the store had to go through a lot of adjustments in the last year. The San Angelo location opened three days before the COVID-19 lockdown begin and the Thompson family had to adjust how they did business.
"We are so excited to be part of the community and it's been kinda hard to get out and meet people," said Hali Thompson, Owner of Nothing Bundt Cakes. "We opened before COVID and everything shut down, so we decided to have our grand opening with our birthday. We are excited to have everyone come out and meet everyone."
Due to the pandemic, Nothing Bundt Cakes had to transition to an online ordering system. As businesses reopened, the specialty cake store has continued to serve customers online and in-store. They have a wide-ranging menu with a variety of flavors that can be customized for every occasion.

Starting Friday, March 26th, the store will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce at 11:30 a.m. The day will also serve as a fundraiser that will benefit the West Texas Rehab -- 20% of sales will be donated to the organization
On Saturday, March 27th, the store will be giving away free confetti bundtlets all day long. Between 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., visitors will have a chance to "spin the wheel" for a chance to win great prizes. (No purchase is necessary to participate.)
Kids will also have the opportunity to meet Captain American and Elsa and receive a special balloon from a balloon twister.
