SAN ANGELO, TX – A 20-year-old San Angelo man was arrested Thursday after he admitted to San Angelo Police officers that he got two minor girls drunk before sexually assaulting them.
According to court documents, on Feb. 28, officers with the San Angelo Police Department learned of a sexual assault that had occurred in North San Angelo.
The victims, two 15-year-old girls, told the officers that Chad E. Holik, 20, of San Angelo, picked them up and took them to his residence on the 300 block of E 23rd st.
While at the resident the victims claimed they were given alcoholic beverages by Holik. After giving them drinks, Holik kissed both of them and then used his hand to sexually assault the children.
Officers confirmed that the girls were at the location after a family member showed them a GPS marker that came from one of the child's cellphones.
They then spoke with Holik. He confirmed to the officers that he did give them alcoholic beverages. He also admitted to using his right hand during the assault and that everything the children told police was accurate.
Holik was then arrested for two counts of sexual assault of a child. He was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility on Mar. 18. His bond is set at $80,000. If he is released he can have no contact with the victims.
