The intersection of Jackson and W. Ave. L has been blocked off to traffic, where a white Jeep Grand Cherokee and a white Chevy Malibu have collided.
The Malibu appears to have sustained the most damage in the crash with a smashed front end, while the Grand Cherokee sustained a slightly dented side.
No one appears to have been seriously injured in the crash, however one woman appeared to have refused ambulance care and is currently with a private party.
The San Angelo Police Department and the San Angelo Fire Department are tending the scene.
Update 11:22 a.m.
Investigating officer Brian Bylsma explained that the Grand Cherokee was southbound on S. Jackson and the Malibu was eastbound on Ave. L, when the driver of the Grand Cherokee failed to yield right of way at a stop sign and caused a collision in the intersection.
Bylsma said he was given conflicting reports on the crash, however the driver of the Grand Cherokee was cited for failure to yield right of way.
One of the passengers of the Malibu will be going to the hospital via private vehicle, Bylsma said.
