The credit card used to make a purchase the morning of the shooting from the convenience store was used to purchase shotgun shells from Wal-Mart on 29th Street. The same kind of shells used to murder Quintana.

One witness told SAPD that Quintana and McCluskey were seeing each other and got into an argument at a party on the 4th of July.

Abel Rueda told police that McCluskey said Quintana "should be dead for disrespecting her".

The man McCluskey was with, Abel Rueda, met with SAPD and said McCluskey leaned over him with a shotgun and shot Quintana in the upper right torso. Rueda was picked up by Big Spring Police on an unrelated crime.

After McCluskey shot Quintana, Rueda drove away immediately. They disposed of the shotgun and ammunition somewhere between San Angelo and Big Spring.

McCluskey is currently in jail and has a $100,000.00 bond.
