Trash Services Expected to Resume Friday

SAN ANGELO, TX – Republic Services has confirmed that trash trucks will attempt to pick up trash Friday after a week of being unable to work.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on Feb. 18, Republic Services will attempt to begin running collection tomorrow, beginning with Thursday’s residential route then continue on through the weekend on Saturday.

They will also be picking up at essential businesses like grocery stores and hospitals when possible conditions allow them to run.

Everyone needs to have their carts out no matter what day your pickup is so that Republic Services will pick it up whenever they are able.

Loop 306 is likely good to go for truck operations. What is concerning public safety officials are the conditions of the residential streets, alleyways, and business parking lots. All are still covered with snow and ice.

The city is expected to update if anything changes before tomorrow.
