San Angelo Police Chief Releases Statement on Search and Rescue

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Police Chief Frank Carter released the following statement Thursday regarding the interagency effort that allowed law enforcement to safely locate Kevin Minzenmayer.

“I am incredibly grateful for the teamwork demonstrated by members of the joint-agency search taskforce that resulted in the rescue of Kevin. A coordinated effort of this magnitude; one that utilized technology, equine, and man to search land, water, and air, is a perfect example of how interagency collaboration should work together to achieve a common purpose or goal, and in this case, it resulted in saving someone’s life. We cannot thank our law enforcement counterparts enough for their assistance. We are also grateful to the media and citizens who shared Kevin’s Nixle Alert on social media, which ultimately helped keep Kevin’s story in the forefront of our minds.”

Kevin was located on Wednesday afternoon using thermal imaging. For more details check out this story: Officials Release Details of Search and Rescue of San Angelo Man
