SAN ANGELO, TX – Construction workers have successfully set up the frame for the new Texas Burger restaurant being built on Knickerbocker Rd. in San Angelo.
As previously reported, on Sep. 30, Texas Burger announced it will be opening a location in San Angelo. Check out the original story here: Is Chickenbocker Becoming Burgerbocker?
After months of getting the land ready, plumbing laid, and cement poured the crews have put up the steel frame for the building.
It is unclear the exact date in which the burger joint will open but with the pace the workers are making fans can ensure it will be sooner rather than later.
Texas Burger will be located 1502 Knickerbocker right next to Rosa's Cafe.
Texas Burger was started in the Permian Basin in the 60s by Bobby D. Cox. He purchased the first Texas Burger after operating Danny’s Drive-In #2 in Odessa. He still owns the business today.
"Since 1967, we’ve been satisfying hungry West Texans with the most mouthwatering all-Angus hamburgers you’ve ever tasted. And each Texas Burger is topped off with our signature cherry pepper. Give us a try and go home happy!" states the Texas Burgers website.
Owners of Texas Burger also own Rosa's Cafe and Taco Villa restaurants.
