Bank Robber Pleads Guilty to Three Heists

ODESSA, TX – A 57-year-old man has pled guilty to robbing several banks across  West Texas.

According to court documents Kenneth Hoyd Seabourne robbed Prosperity Bank in Odessa on Sept. 3, 2020.

According to police, Seabourne entered the bank and passed the teller a note.

The note read: "All $ in Bag! I am armed. No Dye Packs no Bait $."

He would be able to leave the bank with several thousands of dollars.

Sometime later Odessa Police officers observed a man matching Seabourne’s description leaving rubber gloves and clothing on the road.

The DNA retrieved from the items was ultimately matched to the DNA on file for Seabourne.

More than three weeks later Seabourne robbed First Abilene Federal Credit Union and on Oct. 15 he robbed Peoples Bank in Lubbock.

At the time, Lubbock PD confirmed he was wearing a mask during the burglary. He was arrested five days later.
