SAN ANGELO, TX -- Shortly before 4:00 p.m. SAPD officers were dispatched to the area of 2900 Sherwood Way for reports of a major motor vehicle accident.
According to Officer Welch, a female driver traveling west on Sherwood Way unexpectedly crossed lanes of traffic and crashed into the ICR building.
Witnesses at the scene told police the driver it appeared she was having a seizure. The female was conscious when she was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
No one else was injured in the crash, but the fire department requested a the Fire Marshal to determine if the impact had caused structural damage that could cause the walls to collapse.
No citations will be issued.
