SAN ANGLEO, TX – San Angelo Stadium will be the host of the 2020 Class 1A Division II state championship football game.
The game will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021 at 6 p.m. between the Balmorhea Bears and the Richland Springs Coyotes.
The highly anticipated contest was postponed last month after Balmorhea had a COVID-19 outbreak within the program.
The game will be a competitive one as the Bears have won 11 straight games and are ranked number one in the State of Texas.
Richland Springs has won nine state championships. They are the defending champions and are on a 26 game winning streak.
