Three People Killed In Head-On Crash

 

ALPINE, TX – Texas Department of Public Safety troopers have identified the three individuals killed in a crash just west of Alpine on Monday.

The preliminary investigation shows 54-year-old Alma Gloria Wilson of Odessa was traveling westbound on U.S. 67 in a Cadillac SRX-SUV.

Meanwhile, 79-year-old Roberto Taveraz-Roman and 72-year-old Ludivina Tavarez of Big Lake were traveling east on an F-150.

The crash occurred when Wilson attempted to pass the vehicle she was following in a no-passing zone and crashed into the F-150. 

Wilson, Roman, and Tavarez were pronounced dead at the scene while a passenger in the Cadilac was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to DPS, everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt.
