MIDLAND, TX -- A Big Spring man is facing serious charges after he allegedly assaulted three Midland Police officers.
According to the Midland Police Department, on December 19 officers were dispatched to a gas station on North A Street for reports of an unwanted subject. According to the gas station's manager, Albert Daylong Jr. was bothering customers and saying he was being chased. He also stated he had misplaced his phone and wallet.
According to responding officers, Daylong was not in the "right state of mind" when they arrived. Officers located the suspect squatting behind the cashier's desk.
As two MPD sergeants attempted to search Daylong he pulled away and began punching them. A third officer who was assisting the sergeants was also assaulted. Daylong also allegedly bit a female officer who attempted to restrain him.
Daylong has been charged with three counts of assaulting a peace officer and one count of attempting to take a weapon from an officer.
He is being held at the Midland County jail with a $50,000 bond for each charge. Daylong could spend up to 40 years in prison if he is found guilty.

From the looks of him his attack didn't work out like he imagined it would.
Oh well, what's one more idiot in the world!
