The San Angelo Elks Lodge will hold its annual, city wide Hoop Shoot contest. This event will be held on December 2nd, at Sierra Vista Methodist Church Gym at 6:30 p.m.
Sierra Vista is located at 4522 College Hills Boulevard.
There will be a boy and girl winner chosen from three age groups. 8-9, 10-11, & 12-13. Each of the city winners will advance to the district tournament to be held in San Antonio in late January. Winners from the District contest, in each of the categories, will advance to the State Contest. State winners will advance to the Regional contest, and those winners will advance to the National contest. The National contest will be held at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts April 16th-19, 2015.
