Eldorado Eagles Forfeit Area Championship Game Following COVID-19 Outbreak

ELDORADO, TX – The Eldorado Eagle's football season has come to a close after a COVID-19 outbreak at the high school.

According to Eldorado ISD, on Nov. 17, students will be let out for Thanksgiving break and will not return until the end of November.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak there will be no playoff game this Friday against D'Hanis.

The Eagle's finished their season on a positive note by finishing second in district and winning a bi-district championship against Iola last Friday.

The Eagles ended their season at 6-5.
