CHRISTOVAL, TX -- If you had tickets to the Pat Green Concert on Halloween at Cooper's BBQ in Christoval, it looks like you'll be finding new plans.
According to Texas Country music star Pat Green, on Oct. 29, he has tested positive for COVID-19.
"To all my West Texas friends, I was excited to finally be able to play for you this weekend in Christoval. However, I’ve tested positive for COVID-19 and have, therefore, made the decision to cancel the show at Cooper's Bar-B-Q on Saturday. I will take the precautions necessary to protect my family, crew, and fans so we can get back out on the road again soon! Everyone stay safe and thank you for your understanding! -PG," stated Pat Green on his Facebook.
Cooper's has already confirmed that tickets will be reimbursed.
"We regret to inform you that the Halloween with Pat Green performance this weekend has been canceled, due to Pat Green testing positive for COVID-19. We are all working diligently to reschedule the show, and we will certainly welcome Pat Green to Christoval soon. We wish him a speedy recovery, and our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. -- The Coopers." a post read on their Facebook.
After Governor Abbott shut down bars to contain the spread of Coronavirus, Cooper's Barbecue was one of the only live music venues that was able to remain open in Texas. This has made them one of the top spots in the State for Texas Country music.
If a party doesn't happen on Halloween, the following weekend Wade Bowen will be performing live at Cooper's with the Judson Cole Band. Tickets are on sale now.
