Coronavirus: Hospitalizations Experience Significant Bump

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The San Angelo Health Department has confirmed 36 new cases of coronavirus. There are currently 261 active cases, while the hospitalization rate jumped from 22 to 32 in one day.

On Tuesday, city officials confirmed the youngest patient today is only 5 months.

Once again children appear to be mostly spared in testing positive as the vast majority of patients are over the age of 18.

Tuesday's cases were confirmed using 20 PCR tests and 16 antigen tests.
