Coronavirus: Rise in Cases Continues in Tom Green County

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Tom Green County continues its path to what appears to be a spike in cases.

On Thursday afternoon, the health department confirmed 36 new cases, bringing the running total to 132 for the last four days.

The patient's ages range from a 2-year-old child to a 92-year-old senior.

A significant portion of the cases belong to teens and adults under the age of 30.

Once again, the majority of cases belong to residents of Tom Green County.

The cases were confirmed using 13 PCR tests and 23 antigen tests.

There are currently 14 hospitalized patients and a total of 261 active patients.
