Are There Proud Boys in San Angelo?

Now the Freedom Defenders are back to host another rally. This one will be to end COVID-19 tyranny. 

Here is the full message sent out by the leaders of the Freedom Defenders:

"It's October 1st. What does that mean to us Texans? On this day in 1835 the citizens of Gonzales were very aware of the Mexican army coming, and with force they planned to remove their ability to defend their home with 1 cannon. Yes 1 CANNON! That's how dangerous Texans are with any tool to defend their homes and family. The Mexican army knew that the Texans would not lay over easy. They also knew that the Texans had made up their mind that they were fed up and wanted to see an immediate end to Mexican tyranny. So, the battle was set. Attacker v defenders. 

"Why do I bring this up? The Texans were outnumbered. Out gunned. Surrounded. But yet, the Texans beat back the attack! News of the victory spread like wild fire throughout U.S to which it earned it's named as the "Lexington of Texas".  null  Folks. At times we feel small. Outnumbered. Surrounded by the mob. But I challenge you to discover the spirit of Texas again. Our forefathers weren't some supernatural being, but a flawed imperfect man like you and I. What separates us from the attackers is our heart and willingness to DEFEND what we know is righteous and true. 

"So, on this day, take up the challenge to stand against the army of mobs, lies, deception. Have faith that God will deliver his people. It won't be easy, and possibly might hurt at times. But I promise you if we do this right, the reward will fill our cups to where there is no more room to receive it. This is our hope and prayer that each of us challenge one another, and hold each other accountable to ignite the flame of liberty! The flame of TEXAS! Join us next Saturday Oct. 10that the steps of city hall at 10AM. 72 W College Ave.  null We must put an immediate end to this COVID TYRANNY! 

"The lockdowns have caused far more pain and death than the actual virus. They told us 15 days to "flatten the curve" and yet here we are 7 months later with still no end in sight to these unconstitutional mandates. We have had zero representation in the legislature. Our own local government has been in lock step with absolute zero push back on the governor. This county is run by top down Republican control and yet we get leftist results daily from them. They have not drawn a clear contrast between them and Dallas. 

"We call on Mayor Gunter, Judge Steve Floyd to remove these restrictions TODAY! We encourage each of our elected officials to represent us, not some rhino Republican in Austin TX. We will have your back. We will defend you as you defend the rights of San Angelo citizen's and their God given rights. We reject the premise "the new normal". We could have never imagined this kind of tyranny under the socialist Bernie Sanders, and yet here we are. Today is a great day to start anew!  May God be with each of you. Find peace. Find hope. And find that spirit of Texas! We'll see you October 10th at 10AM."
