Health Department Reports Uptick in Coronavirus Cases Thursday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City's Health Department reported an uptick in the coronavirus numbers on Thursday.

According to the City of San Angelo, on Thursday, September 24, the City of San Angelo reported 26 new positive coronavirus cases in Tom Green County.

Since the beginning of the pandemic the City of San Angelo's Health Department has reported 3,641 positive cases. Tom Green County as a population of 119,200. 

There are currently 177 active cases in Tom Green County and 17 of those patients are hospitalized.

Earlier today the health department reported another coronavirus death. This brings our death toll to 72. For more click here.

There are 26 new positive cases of COVID-19 to report today: 9 PCR cases and 17 antigen cases.

It's because the governor relaxed some of the precautions that have been in place by opening up more bars and seating in restaurants, allowing schools to open and outdoor activities to begin again...... It's only gonna get worse !!!!!
