Brownwood Head Coach Quarantined After COVID-19 Exposure

BROWNWOOD, TX–  Brownwood High School head football coach Sammy Burnett announced that he will be quarantined, and will miss the Lions' next two games on Sept. 4 and 11.

Burnett confirmed the news in a text message on Thursday afternoon, stating Friday would be the first game he has missed in his coaching career.

In their first game of the season last Friday the Lion's lost to third-ranked Lampasas, 55-23.
