High School Football Week 2 Brings More COVID-19 Cancellations

 

TUSCOLA, TX – Week two for Texas High School Football is set to begin Friday night but two schools have had to cancel their football game due to coronavirus. 

In week one San Angelo LIVE! reported that two games in the Concho Valley were canceled after teams had COVID-19 outbreaks. For more read: Two 6-Man Games Canceled on Week One After Positive COVID-19 Cases

Water Valley and Veribest were teams that had to cancel due to coronavirus. Veribest is back ready to play but the Water Valley Wildcats are being forced to cancel their game this week against Blackwell. 

Another team forced to scrub their game is Jim Ned. They were scheduled to play Sweetwater on Friday. Last week Jim Ned lost to the Ballinger Bearcats.
