Coronavirus: 17 New Cases Confirmed on Tuesday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Seventeen new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Tom Green County on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the data presented by the San Angelo Health Department, nearly 90 percent of the cases belong to patients over the age of 21 and residents of Tom Green County.

Today's cases were confirmed using 13 PCR tests and 4 antigen tests. In addition, two new Tom Green County deaths were confirmed on Tuesday.

There are currently 3,250 total positive cases, with 669 remaining active and 21 patients are currently hospitalized.
