Out of the 556 beds available in the new jail, there are 456 currently in use by inmates in TGCJ as of Friday morning.
The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, the San Angelo Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety made various arrests including the following individuals:
- Leslie Wood was arrested for PUBLIC INTOXICATION and POSS/DEL DRUG PARAPHERNALIA at 6:17 a.m. His bond has been set at $1,084.00.
- Douglas Cheek was arrested for MISC CPF X8 and MISC FTA at 3:59 p.m. His bond has been set at $502.00.
- Felix Garza was arrested for SEXUAL ASSAULT CHILD at 8:30 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time.
The following were booked into the TGCJ on Thursday (08/27/2020):
- Onecimo Capuchino was arrested for FAIL TO IDENTIFY FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE and MISC PAROLE VIOLATION at 1:17 a.m. His bond has been set at $500.00.
- Eliseo Torres was arrested for MISC PAROLE VIOLATION at 11:50 a.m. His bond has not been set at this time.
- Jonathan Candela was arrested for ASSAULT CAUSES BODILY INJURY FAMILY VIOLENCE at 2:50 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time.
- Tara Padilla was arrested for GOB POSS CS PG 1 < 1G and GOB FAIL TO IDENTIFY FUGITIVE INTENT GIVE FALSE INFO at 3:59 p.m. Her bond has been set at $15,000.00.
- Austin Hunt was arrested for POSS MARIJ <2OZ, POSS CS PG 2 < 1G, and UNL POSS FIREARM BY FELON at 5:21 p.m. His bond has been set at $1,000.00.
- Earnest Yearicks was arrested for MISC PAROLE VIOLATION at 6:18 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time.
