ALERT: Police Searching for Sex Traffickers in a Green Semi in West Texas

 

CISCO, TX – A state wide search has begun for three men in a green semi truck who are suspected of running a sex trafficking operation in West Texas. 

According to the Cisco Police Department, at approximately 9:00pm on August 26, 2020, Cisco Police responded to a call of a female who had been seriously injured near the Flying J/Denny's on I-20 in Cisco.

The woman was injured after jumping from an 18 wheeler and later stated that she had been kidnapped in El Paso, Texas.

It is believed that the perpetrators intend to use the woman in sex trafficking operations .

Cisco Fire Department, Cisco EMS and DPS Troopers were also on scene and the woman was transported to a medical facility for treatment of her injuries.

The 18 wheeler is described as a green truck tractor with a white stripe and pulling a white box type trailer. The truck reportedly is occupied by two Cuban males and a Caucasian male. It is reported that another female was in the truck and may be in grave danger.

A statewide alert was issued last night by Cisco Police in an attempt to get this truck located and detained, however, as of yet there has been no reported contact with this truck.

Crisis workers have intervened and are assisting the victim in receiving care and placement. If you ave any information please contact local law enforcement at 254-629-1728.
