SAN ANTONIO, TX — San Antonio Police confirmed on Monday they have arrested a suspect in connection to the murder of Jasmine Williams.
According to KSAT, Williams was found murdered inside her home on July 14, 2020. Williams was 19-year-old and leaves behind two children ages 5 months and 2 years.
Authorities became aware of the murder after Williams’ boyfriend found her unresponsive in her room covered in blood. The two children were inside the home.
According to Chief William McManus, Williams had visible head trauma. Williams’ boyfriend was questioned by police.
The suspect arrested was identified as 18-year-old Kyle Philips. It is unclear at this moment what Philip’s connection was to Williams.
Philips has been charged with capital murder and was booked into the Bexar County Jail.
