Coronavirus Positivity Rate Declining in Tom Green County

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo Health Department announced another 47 new positive cases of coronavirus in Tom Green County on Thursday.

According to the City, on August 6, the total number of positive tests results in the county is 2,560. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200.

There are currently 806 active cases of COVID-19 in the County and 51 of them are currently hospitalized.

Wednesday the city released full coronavirus numbers. In the report the city stated it has administered 14,872 total tests since March. Of those 2,513 of them have been positive and 10,567 of them have been negative. Only 197 tests are currently pending.

Since March, 30 patients have died due to coronavirus in Tom Green County. Only 20 of those patients were residents of the county. One of the those deaths were reported today. For more click here:Tom Green County Confirms 30th Coronavirus Death
