Woman and Son Stabbed in Early Morning Incident

SAN ANTONIO, TX — San Antonio Police are investigating the brutal stabbing for a mother and son on Tuesday morning.

According to KABB, the juvenile came out of a bedroom after hearing a verbal argument and hearing his mother cry for help. The juvenile attempted to take the weapon away from the suspect and was stabbed multiple times.

According to police, both victims were transported to the hospital in serious condition.

The suspect has been identified as a black male in his late 60s or early 70s and is approximately 5 foot 6 inches and 150 pounds. The connection between the suspect and the victims is currently unknown.

Police believe the suspect may have taken refuge in a neighborhood home and utilizing a helicopter and K-9 units to search the area.
