POLICE: DPS Trooper Arrested for Attempting to Solicit a Hooker

 

BIG SPRING, TX – A Department of Public Safety Trooper from Big Spring has now retired after being arrested for attempting to solicit a prostitute. 

According to KCBD, on June 15, Kenneth Reed Jr., 51, of Big Spring, retired from the Department of Public Safety. 

His retirement came after he was suspended and arrested earlier this month in Lubbock. 

The arrest occurred on June 3 for online solicitation of a prostitute. He was booked into the Lubbock County jail for the offense. 

Reed was released the following day after posting a $750.
