Bexar County Provides Free Plexiglass Kits For Small Businesses

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Bexar County will be distributing free Plexiglass kits to small, local businesses that are reopening amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to KSAT, all small businesses in the county qualify for kits but they must pre-register and provide a confirmation email when picking up the kit.

“These businesspeople are incredibly grateful for these things,” he said. “These are hard-to-find items,” said Precinct 4 Commissioner Tommy Calvert.

According to the press release small businesses can request additional “essential items”, such as personal protective equipment. The one-time request can be made on the Bexar County’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Department’s webpage.

The county also announced they would be providing a list of local vendors that will be selling the items going forward.

Three distribution events will be held this week in different areas of San Antonio.
