Mask Giveaway Going On Now Across San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX – Disposable face masks will be available to the citizens of San Angelo Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13. All masks are courtesy of Principal LED, Ener-Tel and the San Angelo Health Foundation.

Times and locations for mask distribution:

• 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday - San Angelo Stadium, 1902 Knickerbocker Road (Please enter from Johnson Street)
• Noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday – San Angelo Coliseum, 50 East 43rd St.
• 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday - Texas Bank Sports Complex, 1615 Rio Concho Drive
• Noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday – Texas Bank Sports Complex, 1615 Rio Concho Drive

The distribution site at San Angelo Stadium will be the same as last time – there will be one entrance and one exit to the site off of Johnson Street.

At the Foster Communications Coliseum distribution site, citizens will enter the site at the main entrance off Coliseum Drive and will exit onto Grape Creek Road.

Citizens will access the Texas Bank Sports Complex distribution site by way of Rio Concho Drive and will exit by way of St. Ann Street.

The disposable masks that are being handed out are not N95 masks or respirator masks.

The locations will be manned by City employees. Masks will be handed to citizens in their vehicles as they drive through. Contact between drivers and City staff will be as limited as possible. Walk-ups are not allowed.

There will be a limit of seven masks per car/household. Please only request masks that you need for you and your household. This helps ensure as many people in the community as possible are able to receive masks.
