USGS: Earthquake Recorded North of Odessa Wednesday Evening

 

ODESSA, TX – The the United States Geological Survey reported a 2.4 magnitude earthquake which was recorded just north of Odessa outside of Midland late Wednesday evening around 11:30 p.m.

The latest reported seismic activity in West Texas was reported on May 1 which was registered as a 3.2 magnitude earthquake just outside of Loving, New Mexico. 

Recently the Midland and Odessa area has recorded 1 earthquake in the past 24 hours, 1 earthquakes in the past 7 days, 4 earthquakes in the past 30 days, and 27 earthquakes in the past 365 days.
