NWS: Freezing Fog Advisory Friday Morning

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The National Weather Service office in San Angelo has issued a freezing fog advisory for the Concho Valley until 9 a.m. Friday. 

According to the NWS, A Freezing Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to one quarter mile or less and very light ice could develop on area roadways. If driving... slow down, use your low beams, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Be alert for frost on bridge decks causing slippery roads.

Visibility of a quarter mile or less in freezing fog can be expected across the Concho Valley and Heartland counties, in addition to Taylor County, Callahan County, Jones County, Shackelford County, Crockett County, Schleicher County and Menard County.
