Help Make A Difference At The Gobble Up Hunger Food Drive

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The United Way will be hosting the “Gobble Up Hunger Food Drive” to benefit the Blessing Boxes in San Angelo. The collection of items will take place at Market Street on Saturday, November 16th.

There are nine Blessing Boxes around the city, and they are made available to residents who may be in need of food items. Residents can visit the locations at any time of the day.

Residents are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to Market Street (3121 Sunset Dr.) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The following list has been provided by United Way as desired food items:

Single Serve: fruit cups, ravioli, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, beenies weenies, & instant noodles

Small Size: peanut butter, jelly, 1lb bag of rice or beans, & bottle water

Pop Top Cans: vegetables, fruit, soups, tuna, chicken, Vienna sausage, chili

Individual Packages: cereal, peanut crackers, cheese crackers, granola bars, & goldfish, etc.
