Driver Trapped as Mail Carrier Vehicle Crashes Near Christoval

 

CHRISTOVAL, TX – The driver of a rural mail carrier vehicle escaped injury Tuesday morning after the vehicle she was driving crashed on FM-2335 near the intersection of US-277 north of Christoval.

According to law enforcement officers at the scene, the driver of the mail carrier was westbound on FM-2335 when she lost control, skidded off the roadway, and rolled the vehicle down into a ravine. 

The driver was temporarily trapped in the vehicle according to responders at the scene. 

Reporters on the scene say the driver was eventually freed from the vehicle and appeared to be uninjured.  

Responders were removing the mail carrier vehicle from the ravine according to witnesses at the scene. 

No citations were issued and no one was injured.
