SAN ANGELO, TX -- Angelo State was packed last week due to the many events for the Ram's Homecoming
According to ASU, Angelo State University celebrated homecoming last week.
The celebration started on Sunday afternoon with a brisket cookoff. The Student Professional Development Club won the day with Sigma Kappa landing in second and the ASU Ag Department in third.
Other events throughout the week included the stomp competition and a dance marathon that raised $10,715.73.
During the week organizations from across the school constructed a giant pile of palates that were set on fire the night before the big game.
The final day of homecoming began with the parade that was located on Campus for the first time in years.
The Alumni Center was filled before the game started for the tailgate. Angelo State brought in Grammy Nominated Artist B.O.B. to perform.
The week ended with the Rams beating the Western New Mexico Mustangs 31-14.
