BALLINGER, TX -- The National Weather Service office in San Angelo has issued a river flood warning for the Colorado River near Ballinger for Thusday.
The Colorado River is forecast to rise above flood stage this morning and continue to rise to near 18.7 feet by early afternoon.
The river will fall below flood stage by this evening. At 18.0 feet the river will be out of its banks and minor lowland flooding of pasture land will occur.
