WALL, TX -- The Wall Hawks claimed the District 4-3A crown on Tuesday with an 11-1 win over Reagan County in five innings.
The win came behind another dominant outing by Luke Young. Young went five innings and allowed one run on five hits with five strikeouts.
Wall's bats stayed red-hot, as they blasted three home runs and tallied eight hits in the game. Jake Jansa, Charlie Mascorro and Tanner Seider each had a home run and were the only Hawks to tally multiple RBIs in the win. Seider finished the game with four RBIs, Mascorro picked up three on his home run and Jansa had two.
Seider and Jansa each went 2-for-3 at the plate. Mascorro went 1-for-3.
Pablo Hernandez, Justin Chavez, Jose Del Rio, Jacob Gallegos and Marco Flores each had a hit for Reagan County.
Seth Hernandez took the loss on the mound after allowing 10 runs on seven hits and three walks with six strikeouts.
Wall (26-0, 11-0) will close out district play next Tuesday at Brady. Reagan County (15-8, 8-2) will face TLCA this Thursday.
