Baseball District Standings: Who Clinched Playoffs Last Week?

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The baseball season is in the final two weeks before playoffs begin.

Central is still hunting for a playoff berth and the District 3-6A title after splitting their series with Abilene last week. The Miles Bulldogs clinched a playoff berth last week with a win over Winters.

Here are the district standings as of April 15:

District 3-6A

  1. Hurst Bell (17-8, 6-2): Beat Richland 1-0. Next @ Haltom, April 16.
  2. Central (18-12-1, 6-4): Lost to Abilene 12-8. Idle.
  3. Euless Trinity (14-12, 5-3): Beat Haltom 4-2. Next vs Abilene, April 16.
  4. Abilene (16-9, 5-5): Beat Central 12-8. Next @ Trinity, April 16.
  5. Weatherford (16-9-1, 4-4): Idle. Next vs Richland, April 16.
  6. Fort Worth Richland (13-13, 3-5): Lost to Bell 1-0. Next vs Weatherford, April 16.
  7. Fort Worth Haltom (1-18-1, 0-8): Lost to Trinity 4-2. Next vs Bell, April 16.

District 5-4A

  1. Big Spring (13-12-1, 4-1)-x: Beat Sweetwater 8-2. Next vs Greenwood, April 16.
  2. Snyder (9-13, 4-2)-x: Beat Greenwood 3-0. Next vs Lake View, April 16.
  3. Midland Greenwood (10-12, 4-2)-x: Lost to Snyder 3-0. Next @ Big Spring, April 16.
