SAN ANGELO, TX - The first Tuesday of April has been designated nationally as volunteer appreciation day. The Concho Valley Council Governments took a moment to honor its many foster grandparents and senior companions in an honorary lunch.
The foster grandparents and senior companions programs are in place to give back and allow older citizens to stay active in the community.
