WATCH: Drive-Thru Prayers

SAN ANGELO, TX - Usually when one passes through a drive-thru it's leaving with a favorite fast food meal, but on Saturday in southwest San Angelo it was prayers that were offered.

As cars pulled up Lonnie Bingham not only took prayer requests but prayed for those in need.

"Something that really got me was one guy that was going through some issues," said Bingham. "Me being able to pray for him was like cloud 9 after it was over with because I was like wow I'm not just wasting my time out here I'm doing something."

According to Bingham who's seen this done in other Texas cities like San Antonio said this was his calling for today.

"I was put here for a reason," said Bingham. "God has his reasons. They say love makes you do crazy things. This is one thing love makes you do."

Bingham said three cars pulled in to his prayer drive-thru today and hopes to be able to do this again.

"Drive-Thru Prayers as told by Peter Griffin". How about it? I'd stop for that, twice.

I usually dismiss these guys as the off-the-rocker types, but I've met him a few times, passing out little pieces of paper with Bible verses. Nice guy, he means well.
