SAN ANGELO, TX – An arrest warrant has been issued for a man who failed to appear for a court hearing on Wednesday.
According to court documents, Marcus Wiley Jaamal Wes McVae, 34, had a court date today concerning charges against him for organized criminal activity. On April 22 2016, McVae and a group of men robbed a man-camp of their four work trucks. He pled guilty in August of 2018 that gave him 10 years of probation and a $5,000 fine.
On December 6 2018, McVae was arrested again after Police found cocaine and THC gummy bears. This time he was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance. The felony charges violated McVae's probation and he was supposed to be in court to plea not true to the probation violation charge.
On March 6, McVae did not show up to his hearing. According to court documents, his name was called and he did not respond. The Bailiff called McVae’s name three times at court house door. McVae failed to answer so his bond is forfeited. The court issued a capias for McVae's arrest. The court took judicial notice of a prior hearing that McVae committed a crime while out on a bond, so the court holds that McVae shall be held on this charge without bond.
If you know where McVae is call police immediately.
