Elevated Fire Weather Conditions to Give Way to Wintery Mix

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Elevated fire weather conditions will continue across the western Concho Valley and Crockett County Friday evening.

According to the National Weather Service Office in San Angelo, near critical fire weather conditions are possible across the western portions of the Concho Valley and Big Country on Saturday.

Gusty winds will return for Saturday afternoon.

There is a chance for a wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet and rain Monday night through Tuesday night, roughly north of a Mertzon to San Angelo to Cross Plains line.

This is a developing story.
