Concho Valley Girls District Standings: Three Teams Eyeing Playoff Berths This Week

SAN ANGELO, TX-- The girl's high school basketball playoffs are a month away, but area teams have the chance to clinch their spot as early as this week.

Three teams in the Concho Valley have the chance to book a playoff spot as early as this Friday. Those teams include Eden (6-0), Wall (20-1, 6-0) and Veribest (16-5, 5-1).

The Central Lady Cats can still clinch a playoff spot. However, since they aren't playing two district games this week, the earliest they can clinch is next Tuesday. With a pair of wins and a Reagan County loss, the Ballinger Lady Bearcats can clinch as early as next Tuesday as well.

Eden and no. 1-ranked Wall are on the easiest path of the three teams with their unbeaten district records. Because of their records in district play, they control their destiny by and large. Wall's is the simplest of the two while Eden has multiple scenarios. Veribest will need help to clinch by this Friday.

Eden

• Two wins + One Paint Rock loss this week.
• One win + Two Paint Rock losses this week.
