SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Firefighters worked to knockdown a structure fire in east San Angelo Monday evening.
According to Live! reporters on the scene, it appears a garage was on fire in the 1300 block of Bryan St. off Bell St.
Firefighters appear to be dousing the fire. No word yet on the cause of the blaze or if anyone was injured.

UPDATE: Monday 7:00 p.m.
San Angelo Fire Department spokesman Battalion Chief Neely said at the scene they found a detached garage fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
Firefighters made a fast attack and ended up fighting the blaze from the outside of the structure.
Neely says Engine 4 was the first to arrive. Engine 3 arrived and backed up Engine 4 with their attack water.
Firefighters were doing a search to make sure no one was inside the structure.
The fire is out at this time. Information from nearby residents say the structure was unoccupied.
As of 7 p.m., no one has been injured.
