Concho Valley Girls District Standings: Jan. 14

SAN ANGELO, TX-- With playoffs just a couple of weeks away, area teams are on the verge of clinching playoff berths.

Heading into the week of Jan. 14, five area teams can clinch a playoff berth by the week's end.

No. 1-ranked Wall (21-1, 6-0) sits four games ahead of fifth place Reagan County (8-13, 2-4).

Here's how Wall can clinch a playoff spot by Friday:

  • Win on Tuesday + Win OR Reagan County Loss on Friday

If Wall were unable to win on Tuesday, the earliest they could clinch a playoff spot would be Tuesday, Jan. 22.

The Ballinger Lady Bearcats (15-10, 5-1) can also clinch a playoff spot this week, but that requires more help than Wall's possibility.

Here's how Ballinger can clinch a playoff spot by Friday:

  • Win AND Reagan County loss on Tuesday + Win AND Reagan County loss on Friday.
