Two Arrested After Search Reveals Meth and Cash

BIG LAKE, TX-- The Reagan County Sheriff's Office continues to fight the drug problem in Big Lake. 

Two people were arrested Wednesday night after deputies searched a house for drugs.

Ariel Martinez and Mireya Esquivel's house was raided and deputies found 32 grams of meth, an undisclosed amount of cash and drug paraphernalia. 

According to the Reagan County Sheriff's Office they were also charged with Tampering of Evidence because when the deputies where searching they tried to flush the drugs down the toilet. 

This is the second drug bust this week in Reagan Country.
