SAN ANGELO, TX-- There's a new event this year for the Concho Christmas Celebration; "Kayak Through the Lights."
The Kayaking Divas and Dudes will be hosting the event on Saturday Dec. 15 at 5:30 p.m., beginning at the public boat ramp located behind the Girl Scouts Building located at 304 W. Avenue A.
Kayakers are invited to come out and decorate Kayaks with Christmas lights and other festive decorations while floating down the river and enjoy the 3 million lights.
Texas Parks and Wildlife requires one white light mounted on the kayak, an oar, and a life vest must be worn.
