THE UPSIDE DOWN — The first four episodes of the final season of Stranger Things premieres tonight.
Finally, after nearly 10 years, it’s the beginning of the end for Stranger Things as Volume 1 of Stranger Things 5 premieres at 7 p.m. tonight on Netflix. Volume 1 consists of the first four episodes titled:
- The Crawl
- The Vanishing of ******* *******
- The Turnbow Trap
- The Sorcerer
If you start Season 5 exactly at 7 p.m., you’ll finish Volume 1 before midnight as all but three episodes are over an hour long. The Crawl runs 68 minutes, The Vanishing of ***** ***** runs 54 minutes, The Turnbow Trap runs 66 minutes, and The Sorcerer runs 83 minutes for a total of 271 minutes of brand-new Stranger Things. That works out to around 4.5 hours.

The synopsis reads:
"The fall of 1987, Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes, are united by a single goal, find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.
As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone – the full party – standing together, one last time."
Stranger Things is created by the Duffer Brothers, Ross and Matt, alongside Shawn Levy, who directed Deadpool and Wolverine.
